Heaton Woods Residence, a residential care home, in Montpelier is looking for medical/nursing students to work there temporarily. They are open to having students that have previously worked as an LNA, PCA or RCA, as well as students without any experience. They are happy to teach students the necessary skills, most of which include assisting the residents with activities of daily living. They also note that they have a need for students that have had any training in taking vitals for residents, weighing residents, grooming feet. They especially need help with evenings, nights and weekend shifts.

Additionally, they are looking for those with have their LPN or RN, especially for evenings, nights and weekends.

Cameron, the director states, “We just need help from compassionate people and for our medical students in training, this would be a great opportunity for them to see what it is like to work with elders”.
